Cockernhoe Endowed Church of England Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is
enabling pupils and adults to flourish. It has the following notable strengths.
Notable Strengths
• The school is deeply committed to ensuring that pupils are enabled to live life to the full. This is evident
through the opportunities that are provided for pupils both within the school and beyond.
• There is a strong sense of community throughout the school. The caring relationships between pupils and
staff have a positive impact on their wellbeing and help them to flourish.
• Collective worship is both inclusive and distinctively Christian. It is central to the life of the school and
supports pupils and staff in their spiritual development.
• The strong partnership between the school and local churches helps pupils to explore the Christian faith in
a relevant and vibrant way.
